Unit Two
Putting Ourselves in the Lab

In this unit:

We will “put ourselves in the lab” by conducting a series of reading and writing activities and gathering metacognitive data through pre- and post-survey responses, written responses, and group discussions.

By the unit’s end:

You should have had a chance to test some of your own ideas coming out of Unit 1 against your own and your peers’ experiences, informed by additional related research. You should also have a better sense of yourself as both reader and writer, and you should have a good collection of data and ideas to move forward into your independent research projects in Unit 3.

*I don’t recall final grades on these particular papers. I’m mostly providing these so you can see a range of how people handled referencing the class survey material--some of these are smoother than others in execution, but I think you’ll find them all interesting!
